It features a fast-paced review of the BICSI Telecommunications Distribution Methods Manual (TDMM) 13th edition, highlighting critical areas that need to be known for the Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) exam. Practice tests and general test-taking tips and strategies are included. IDF102 has been structured to maximize your take-away from the class. Preparing for the RCDD credential exam
NOTE: IDF102 is a review course only. To learn how to design telecommunications distribution systems, an in-depth comprehensive five-day course, DD102 is the correct option.
Who Should Attend?
- Individuals preparing to take the RCDD exam.
- Individuals looking for a review of their knowledge of telecommunications distribution systems.
What’s In It For Me?
RCDDs set the benchmark for the ICT industry, and IDF102 is an essential course in reviewing your preparedness of achieving the coveted credential.
Pre-requisites / Preparation
The IDF102 course is designed for those who have a minimum of two years of experience in the design and specifications of cabling infrastructure systems and who have preferably undertaken the DD102 and completed it successfully. If you do not meet these requirements, we strongly recommend that you complete the IDF101:ICT Design Fundamentals and or DD102 course prior to enrolling in IDF102.
Required / Encouraged materials needed for class
Students must bring the TDMM, print or electronic, to class. The manual (not included in the course fee) can be ordered at bicsi.org/publications.
Having the 13th edition of the Telecommunications Distribution Methods Manual (TDMM) during the course for reference would be an added advantage in easy learning and referencing.
